I’ve noticed that my stories usually always include a fearless girl. Well, not fearless, exactly, because fearless can mean reckless. My girls definitely are not reckless.
A healthy respect for evil, doom and death can keep a girl alive, right? So, my girls do feel fear, but they don’t let fear stop them from getting things done. They’re gutsy. That’s the word – gutsy.
And stubborn – my girls are stubborn. They stubbornly trust their own instincts and themselves. But, sometimes it’s necessary to trust others, too. That’s a problem with stubborn girls.
